Excellent News:

The Chair got financial support from the industry for Moisés Geraldes Xavier! The company Tyco Electronics was kindly giving a rapid support to asure the salary of Moisés during two months at the end of 2006. Thus Tyco-Electronics gave a good exemple of a company, which feels the social responsibility for the region and for the growing of science. This support especially emphazises also the high importance of recognizing the role of young scientists and the University of Évora for the development of the region and Portugal as part of the European Research Area.
